:  A very unusual plaster plaque of the 104th Inf. 26th Yankee Division being awarded by the French Government - First Unit to be Awarded CdeG !!!!!
The piece is tastefully painted.    The plaster plaque is 12" high by 15" wide by 1 1/8" thick.  The metal plaque on the bottom reads "Decorating the 104th Infantry (26 Div.) colors.  The first American Regiment decorated by a Foreign Power.  General Passaga of the French Army presenting the Croix de Guerre.".  The smaller plaque on the bottom right reads "In Memory of the Unknown Soldier".   The piece weighs 4.4 lbs.  The piece has some age but who knows how old it is?     I will be shipping in a priority box and will refund any overage in postage.
