    Description

1858 SEATED LIBERTY HALF PCGS MS 63+ WHITE MINT BLOOM ACCENTED BY VIVID RIM TONE. Excellent luster with very appealing blue and gold on the rims. This is an outstanding "No Motto" Half, acknowledged as such by PCGS with the infrequent 'Plus" grade. No imagination or leap of faith needed to come to the Very Choice Brilliant Uncirculated conclusion. A few scuffs in the fields apparently responsible for the very cautious grade. The Seated Liberty No Motto Half Dollar series seems to be seriously underrated. For the ENTIRE SERIES, spanning 27 years, the PCGS population shows just 17 in MS 63+, with 1214 better, and this with no consideration for duplicate entries. Tough, Tough, Tough!
