An antique 19th century Kendi Vessel that was used as a ritualistic container for pouring holy water.
The water was collected from sacred rivers and blessed by the Gods.
The kendi has an Southeast asian chop mark (silver mark) located on the bottom left.
There are alternating floral and plain repousse panels.
This piece has been tested and it is silver.
