The Steiff “family collection”, which is published in limited editions, presents replicas of the most popular teddy bears and animals that the children of this “royal family” owned by toy makers. Every plush collector's item comes with a beautifully framed photo depicting the child and their toys. Number two in this series is a magnificent and majestic lion that once belonged to Claire Steiff Meisel (the granddaughter of Richard Steiff ). This royal creature has been handcrafted with the greatest care so that none of the charm of the original is lost. Every single piece is an impressive example of Steiff craftsmanship, which is shown in elaborate airbrush details, individually embroidered facial features and artistically painted paws. This splendid example will be released in an edition of only 1,000 pieces. With his gold-colored "Button in Ear" Claire's jungle king gives every Steiff Collection a royal touch.
