Vintage Imperial Ripple Swung Vase Carnival Art Glass Electric Purple Amethyst. This vase was made around 1929, has a 3 3/8” base and was actually stretched and swung while it was still hot and pliable, to a height of 11 7/8” on the tallest ruffle. As you can see in my last pictures, the ridges in the center of the tallest side of this vase are wider apart and the ripple starts to smooth out. During this process, the glass separated from the vibrant colorful layer and it left some small irregular spots that I tried to capture on a couple of the last pictures. I also took a picture of a tiny chip or broken bubble on the bottom part of the bottom ridge. If you have any questions or need any additional pictures please ask. I have actually used this vase and enjoyed it for a long time and I never realized the little stretch marks until today.
