Great find.  Does show some age.  Missing forehead pad I believe.  Cage is rusty and leather is cracking but pretty flexible.  I didn't try it on!  Marked "IC" for 1st company? Or Infantry Company? Corp. ? Cloth is very good and not  brittle.  Nicely preserved war item that could a real centerpiece to a collection.
