    Description

It is an old military piece taken and crafted into a useable object.
This piece came from the estate of Vice Admiral Glenn Davis.   Given to me by his step son.  Passing it along to someone who will appreciate Navy artifacts and especially from the Washington Navy Yard.  It appears to be made into a holder for a desk.  Maybe used for paper clips, change, or maybe he had it on his desk for looks.
