    Description

    Up for bids is this original WWI metal whistle as used by officers and NCO's in both the British and American Armies.  The blowing of this whistle is most associated as the signal to go "over the Top" of the trenches in frontal assaults.  It is constructed of heavy brass and is marked "B&R".  It still works.  This piece came with other WWI relics.
    Overall, this piece is in clean, non-altered and non-abused condition.
